Conditions helped with Active Release ART

Many conditions of the musculoskeletal system can cause very painful symptoms.

Repetitive stress injuries (RSI) can be caused in any situation that requires a movement to be repeated over and over. It does not matter how small the weight or physical stress. A perfect example of this is lateral elbow pain (lateral epicondylitis) caused by excessive hours of using a mouse and keyboard. This is when the extensor tendons of the forearm are irritated or damaged.

Another very common condition that effects the muscles of the arm is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This is a much larger problem than irritation of the carpal tunnel of the wrist. It is usually caused by fibrosis and adhesions in the arm and forearm.

Both of these injuries can be classified as injuries mostly to the muscular system. ART is very effective at dealing with these types on injuries because ART identifies the damaged/irritated tissue and manually releases the pressure on the damaged muscles and tendons.
